Melissa in the Morning: Bridgeport Board Split

Teacher positions, all the district’s librarians, a popular performing arts program and bus transportation for about 2,400 students all voted to be eliminated to help make up the budget gap in Bridgeport. The controversial decision could be reversed though, if the city invests more money into the district. We talked about this with Bridgeport Board of Education Vice Chair, Joseph Sokolovic.
