This week we introduce a beautiful, pure bred fox hound, Counselor. Counselor is 6 years old, neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. He has just received a full dental cleaning, and is happy and healthy and ready to find his new family. Counselor is typical of his breed: he’s social with people and dogs (both large and small) and does like to yodel. Because they are vocal, we don’t typically recommend hounds for apartments or condos, or other situations in which neighbors might be disturbed. This guy has a moderate energy level, and loves to get time outside every day to sniff around. Come on down to meet this sweet character.
Our adoption center is open seven days a week at 455 Post Rd. E. in Westport. You can also learn more online at CTHumane.org.
Many pets feel bored and stuck inside during the wintertime. Learn how to keep them active at the Connecticut Humane Society’s free PETtalk workshop, “Boredom Busters,” Wednesday, Jan. 22, 6:30-8:30 p.m. at CHS, 455 Post Road East, Westport. Go to CThumane.org for info and RSVP for your free seat.
