Brigitte Quinn is a veteran New York City and national news anchor. Before joining WICC, she hosted Newsline on WCBS 880 and on 1010WINS, after anchoring morning drive on WINS for seven years.
Quinn started her career at WALK on Long Island before moving to NYC and becoming the first woman morning drive anchor on WCBS. She left radio in the ’90s to anchor and help launch MSNBC, and then moved up to the network to host NBC News at Sunrise. Her next television venture was anchoring breaking news and handling live interviews for Fox News Channel during their hard news midday hours.
Quinn is the author of a rom-com style novel, 2015’s Anchored. While raising her three children in Westport, she also wrote articles for Moffly’s Westport Magazine.
Quinn has a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University and a Master of Fine Arts degree in writing from Sarah Lawrence College.
Quinn and her husband now live in beautiful Wilton, CT.
