Cheese Fondue

Cheese Fondue

INGREDIENTS:

  • 5 cups of swiss and gruyere cheese shredded
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 1 ½ cups dry white wine
  • 2/3 cup of milk
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • ½ tsp nutmeg
  • OPTIONAL 1 tbsp of brandy

RECIPE:

— Shred cheese and let it sit at room temperature
— Add flour and garlic
— Pour wine in sauce pan and set to medium heat until bubbling
— Before it boils, add cheese mix and whisk often
— Then stir in milk, continue whisking (add brandy here if you choose to add)
— Stir in mustard and nutmeg
