The moment between meeting Darcy, our lovely 8 year old mixed breed dog, and snuggling her is VERY short. Darcy is among the cuddliest dogs ever. She loves to curl up in your lap or lay her head on your feet. Darcy grew up in a loving home with lots of affection, and it shows! Her foster mom loves her and says she has excellent house manners. She is low energy, loves to play with toys, and perfectly housebroken.

Allen the bunny has gone through a lot, but he sure doesn’t act like it! This is a bunny who loves people and comes right over to greet you. The 1-year-old dwarf mix was found outside on his own in a park, and it was clear he used to be someone’s pet. His finders brought him to the Connecticut Humane Society, where he’s been sweet and friendly with everyone he’s met. Allen is even pretty good about being picked up. It’s important to remember that rabbits need regular veterinary care, just like cats and dogs, and that they should be in a large space where they can run, hop and explore, like a penned-in area or a room.
