The Humane Society has a soft spot for sassy cats. Sometimes cats are more independent, or have more opinions about how the world should work. They need love too. Melonie is seven years old and a bit…portly. She’s an orange tabby with green eyes and a big white tummy that she loves to show you. Once you know her, you can even pet her belly, but only once you know her and that is a slow process.
Melonie prefers to supervise and hang out without a lot of cuddling. She likes to be near you—in fact she often sleeps at your feet but does not enjoy being picked up or moved around. Even so, she is a pleasant companion and one worthy of a good home. She prefers to be the only pet in the home, and would not be suitable for younger children. To learn more or make an appointment to meet her please visit CTHumane.org
