Record numbers of children with RSV are now being seen at Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital and Connecticut Children’s. Meanwhile, Pfizer says it will seek FDA approval this year for its RSV vaccine.  The drug company says it has enough promising data on its vaccine that it will end enrollment in its study and submit it for approval. We spoke to Dr. Browne about the latest on RSV cases and how soon we will see vaccines.

For Today’s pet of the week, I want to introduce Little Bean! He is a 3-year-old tabby cat and currently my new office mate! He can be shy when he first meets you but once you guys are friends, he will come out and seek attention! When I am working on my computer, he will sit next to me and lightly tap my hand or cheek for attention. I do have to resist the urge to scoop them up since he is still shy but it is something that we’re working on!  So those of you with cat experience and kids over the age of 10 little bean may be the one for you!
