CT Humane Society Pet of the Week

CT Humane Society Pet of the Week

Good Morning! Meet Mango (green) and Blue Berry (Blue). They are 3-year-old male parakeets.

Parakeets (also known as budgies) bring joy and song to your home. These curious creatures seek out novel objects, which makes them fun to watch when they interact with their toys and perches. They are social birds, who can be hand tamed and will seek out their owners once bonded. Parakeets can be single pets, or can be kept as pairs or small, single-sex groups, but these two must go home together! With proper care, Parakeets can live between 7 and 15 years.

Visit our website at CThumane.org where you can find additional information on all our available pets. We are still appointment only, So please apply online and remember to have your phones on you so we can reach out and talk to you more about the pet you have applied for.
