CT Humane Society Pet of the Week

CT Humane Society Pet of the Week

Today we want to introduce you to Pura! She is a 7.5 year old female cat. Pura is mostly grey, has a white bib, and yellowish eyes. She would be the perfect cat for someone who wants company but not looking for an actual lap cat. Pura does sit on the laps of her peeps but she does not want to be picked up or cuddled. That makes her uncomfortable, she has her opinions and will let you know if your lap is the most desirable spot in the room or not.

We have tested her with dogs and she does not like the sight of them, and in her last home was not happy with her feline sibling so to set Pura up for a happy life we would like her to be the only pet and in a quiet home so she can be the queen of the castle.

If you want to hear more about Pura or any of her friends here at CT humane visit us online at cthumane.org or give our Westport branch a call to speak to our adoption counselors.
