Franklin is 4 year old female Guinea pig. Her foster says that she is a great gal and they love having her in their home. Franklin came to us when her owner went to college and was not able to take her with them. This happens all the time and we like to remind folks that when you adopt animals that you have to think about the years ahead. Guinea pigs can live up to 8 years and of course cats to 18. Obviously things happen in our lives that we have no control but we want to try to limit them as much as possible!
