According to the CDC, 1 in 4 women and 1 in 7 men will experience physical violence by their intimate partner at some point during their lifetimes. About 1 in 3 women and nearly 1 in 6 men experience some form of sexual violence during their lifetimes. It’s no secret; domestic violence continues to be a real problem nationwide and Connecticut is not immune to it. We spoke about this with President and CEO of the Center for Family Justice, Deb Greenwood. We also got the details on the upcoming 28th Annual Speaking of Women luncheon happening September 9th.
