Milford parents are outraged after two motions to restore education funding didn’t get the votes needed to pass. Ten votes were needed during the Board of Aldermen meeting to restore full or partial funding back to the schools and both failed to get the votes. Now the Board of Education has to decide where to make up that money in a meeting, including potentially closing a middle school or firing educators. We spoke with Kara Flannery of the Milford Ed Advocates group about the latest financial cuts to Milford schools.
